Firecracker 5K Fun Run/Walk

The Firecracker 5K is sponsored by CHI LakeWood Health/LakeWood Regional Health Care Foundation & the Lake of the Woods High School Track Program. All funds will be donated back equally to each program.

5K Fun Run/Walk same day registration begins at 7:45 a.m and closes at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Race begins at 9:00 a.m.

Every participant will receive a medal. Racers who pre-register by June 18th are guaranteed a t-shirt. On race day, t-shirts will be available for same-day registrants while supplies last, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that no extra t-shirts will be ordered, and the race fee remains the same regardless of whether a t-shirt is received.

If a child is in a stroller, no entry fee is required. All participants, including children, who are walking or running in the race, are required to pay the entry fee. Bicycles and roller blades are not permitted on the race route.

5K ENTRY FEE: $35 (no refunds unless race is canceled).
