Community Kindness
Small gestures mean a lot!
Thank you to Light of Christ, ECC for their thoughtful, handmade thank yous for our LUH Healthcare Heroes! "These hearts represent our hearts - filled with gratitude and admiration."
Never too young to volunteer
Benjamin, 12, of Longmont is a 3d printing enthusiast. He learned about the problem of prolonged use of medical face masks and that 3d printed ear guards could be a solution. He produced ear guards and is providing them to hospitals and healthcare workers.
Proud partners with EMS
Our surgeons joined our EMS Coordinator and Trauma Program Manager treating them with the care and kindness of our community with all the fire stations during EMS week. Just one more way to bring our caring community full circle! "May you be proud of the work you do, the person you are, and the difference you make."
TAILS Parade
Once again, the Longmont United Hospital Volunteers bring joy to patients and staff alike. This time with a TAILS Parade. Everyone is looking forward to the day they are back INSIDE the hospital. Sometimes the best therapist has fur and four legs.
Blessings Abound
Our neighborhood is filled with goodness and caring and sharing. Sometimes just a snack can make all the difference in the world. "I always thought I had good neighbors. Turns out I have the best neighbors in the world." -- Jim Casey.
Who Gives A Scratch?
Flatirons Community Church - that's who! They very generously provided over 125 LUH associates with lunch from the Scratch Food Truck! What fun to get outside and get fed during these precarious times. "I believe that we were created to be worshipers" -- Jim Burgen
