Longmont United Hospital Continued Education Scholarships

The scholarship program began in 1990 when Bill and Anne Boettcher donated $2,000 in seed money to the program.

The Foundation’s scholarship program has awarded $1.5 million for health career scholarships since 1991. We are constantly evolving to meet the needs of hospital providers. This funding program encourages individuals to pursue higher education in healthcare and has been adapted to help nurses and other faculty (clinical and nonclinical) maintain certifications who support the mission of the hospital. Individuals who are not LUH staff but are currently in a medical field program may apply for this scholarship. Preference to LUH staff will be given when being considered.
