Dr. Keith Minihane

Dr. Keith Minihane, MD

Our doctors always go above and beyond, motivated by a genuine desire to make a difference for our community. Philanthropy helps advance our work every day. It allows doctors like Dr. Minihane to continue serving patients and innovating care. It allows us to purchase new equipment and improve treatments. And it shows our dedicated caregivers that their kindness, empathy and compassion truly help people heal.

Today, I invite you to take a glimpse behind the scenes with Keith Minihane, MD, one of our Orthopedic Surgeons, to see a very special project at work in our community. We asked Keith Minihane, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon, to share his perspective on the recent funding through our generous donors in support of St. Thomas More for the Hospital Imaging New C-Arm ($141K) and new Operating Room Equipment ($150K).

Q: What Foundation projects have impacted you recently?

A: I am very thankful for the Foundation’s recent funds for our Imaging Department, which allowed us to purchase a new C-Arm and surgical power tools. This upgraded equipment enhances the care we provide to patients, helping daily procedures run smoothly for several service lines.

Q: How does this new equipment impact our Fremont County community?

A: Before we had these upgraded resources, we had to borrow equipment from other local facilities — increasing wait times — or send patients out of town to get care sooner. Now, we can keep care local and see patients as soon as possible, when every moment matters.

Q: What do you want donors to know about gifts to St. Thomas More?

A: Thank you for this essential support! It means so much to the staff and surgeons in the hospital — and it allows us to provide both efficient and high-quality care to people in our community.
