In Gratitude to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office

In October of 2023, the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office sold commemorative pink patches to the public in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in partnership with the nationwide Pink Patch Project.

Fremont County Sheriff On December 8, Sheriff Allen Cooper donated the patch sale proceeds to St. Thomas More Hospital Foundation. Angie Simonson, CEO of St. Thomas More Hospital, accepted the generous gift of $2,656—all dedicated to patients in need of breast cancer screenings and programs.

Thanks to this generosity from our Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and our community, we can now screen and detect breast cancer at a higher rate—ensuring that our loved ones receive proper treatment and increasing their chance of survival.
