About the CHI Health Foundation

As the local fundraising arm, the CHI Health Foundation was formed to provide philanthropic support to benefit the five CHI Health hospitals and numerous clinics in Omaha, Nebraska, and Council Bluffs, Iowa, which includes CHI Health CUMC-Bergan Mercy, CHI Health Immanuel, CHI Health Lakeside, CHI Health Mercy and CHI Health Midlands. We bring together needs beyond the essentials through the generosity of donors, such as enhancing patient care, upgrading infrastructure, increasing staff wellbeing, or funding new technology, equipment and programs, to make a healthier community for all.

As the national healthcare environment continues to evolve, philanthropy is becoming a more important source of funding for hospitals and clinics. As a not-for-profit organization, the CHI Health Foundation reinvests all revenue beyond operational expenses in our healthcare system in the Omaha and Council Bluffs market. Generosity like yours supports CHI Health's commitment to the patients and families we serve.

Board & Governance

CHI Health Foundation is governed by a board of dedicated members comprised of community volunteers, business executives, and hospital and health care professionals who strive to improve the health of our region.  The board members assist in the many aspects of the Foundation's fundraising efforts and with increasing awareness of our health system and CHI Health Foundation.
