Soup for the Soul

Supporting Excellence in Hospice Care

In its 18th year, Mercy Health Foundation will be hosting Soup for the Soul to raise money for Hospice of Mercy. This signature event is one that nourishes the body, warms the heart, and supports excellence in hospice care. We’re thrilled to announce that Soup for the Soul is back, in a new format.

Sixteen of your favorite downtown Durango restaurants will feature a handcrafted soup between February 4-14th, 2025. $5 from each bowl of soup will be directly donated to Hospice of Mercy.

Ways to support

Pick up your Soup for the Soul Passport from Alpine Bank or participating restaurants. Visit each participating restaurant and warm your heart with a bowl of soup between February 4, 2025 and February 14, 2025, all to support Hospice of Mercy. Don’t forget to get your passport stamped!

Collect five or more stamps on your Soup for the Soul Passport and drop it off at Alpine Bank downtown or Three Springs, for a chance to win a fantastic raffle basket!

Thank you for supporting Soup for the Soul

Hospice of Mercy provides comfort and peace for individuals on their end-of-life journeys – enabling them to live their final days with dignity and respect.

Proceeds support terminally ill patients and their families through our dedicated Hospice of Mercy team. The extraordinary team includes palliative care physicians, nurses, chaplains, bereavement counselors, social workers, a music therapist, our holistic nursing team, and a dedicated group of hospice volunteers. Together, this team provides end of life care for our rural community.
