This legacy program was inspired by pilots and medics who saw firsthand the value of the helicopter in saving injured soldiers from the front lines in Vietnam. Today, Flight For Life continues to be an honorable service for our community, by our community—with 100% of all equipment and vehicle needs proudly sustained by faithful donors and corporate and community partners.

Since its founding in 1972, gifts to St. Anthony Hospital Foundation have enabled Flight For Life to invest millions of dollars in critical equipment such as a brand-new Airbus B3e helicopter, a new helicopter fuel system, a mobile-simulation training unit, adult and pediatric ventilators, night vision goggles, and a new ground ambulance.
