Healing brain injury with knowledge

We helped welcome nearly 100 physicians and caregivers to Summit County for the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Conference last November. With support from Foundation funds, the TBI Conference gathered professionals from near and far to continue learning how to best treat patients experiencing brain injuries and concussions.

As one of the top adventure tourism destinations in the country, we are honored to help keep our caregivers trained to provide care in these difficult situations. One attendee noted: “What was most helpful was learning the overall picture of how head injuries are being treated from the different stages of treatment.”

The speaker list featured several of our St. Anthony Summit Hospital physicians, including Jay Johannigman, MD, FACS, FCCM, who shared: “I had a blast and am privileged to be part of the Summit team. What a wonderful conference.”
