Welcome Trixie VanderSchaaff, BSN, MSN, Chief Executive Officer

We welcomed our Chief Nursing Officer, Trixie VanderSchaaff, BSN, MSN, into a new role this March: Chief Executive Officer. Trixie will serve in place of Lee Boyles, who has moved on to Intermountain Health Montana as president of the Montana and Wyoming Markets and CEO of St. Vincent Region Hospital in Billings. We extend our gratitude to Lee for his service to St. Anthony Summit Hospital.

Trixie has served as Chief Nursing Officer at St. Anthony Summit since 2016, the same year she was recognized as the 2016 Nurse of the Year for Excellence. She began her nursing career as a staff nurse for Bristlecone Home and Health and has continually developed her clinical and leadership skills within the CommonSpirit Health system.

As a longtime resident of Summit County, Trixie understands the integral role the hospital plays in the health and wellness of our community. She is knowledgeable, collaborative and passionate, making her a fantastic part of our leadership team. Congratulations, Trixie!
