Intensive Care Unit Reopened and Blessed

In September of 2023, our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) moved locations and reopened after months of planning and hard work. This initiative is a direct result of staff feedback to leadership on the Glint Survey.

While the change offers many benefits, one of the most significant improvements is more efficient access to imaging resources inside the ICU, allowing our care teams to avoid patient transports via elevator.

We celebrated the momentous reopening and relocation with a special ceremony and blessing. Thank you to our leaders and colleagues who together identified and acted on this opportunity for enhanced care to our Cañon City community.
