Honoring the legacy of Marvie Randall

Unveiling of the Rick & Marvie Tribute

Recently, we honored two of the great friends and volunteers of Penrose and St. Francis Hospitals, Rick and Marvie Randall. 

We're celebrating the long­reaching impact of Marvelyn (Marvie) Randall's kindness and generosity to our community. Marvie passed away in late 2024.

With more than 24,000 hours of heartfelt volunteer service over 24 years, Marvie raised hundreds of thousands of dollars each year, leading the Penrose and St. Francis gift shops.  She and her husband, Richard (Rick) Randall, who passed in 2019, gave more than $44,700 over the course of their lifetimes. Through legacy gifts, Marvie and Rick's impact will have a ripple effect, carrying their kindness and compassion to future generations with more than $750,000 to be distributed through our employee scholarships program.
